Granite is not easy to crush but usually easier to crush than basalt, because granite is of high hardness but is brittle. Therefore, we can design granite crushing plant with relative flexibility. With market price advantages, we apply two stage crushing process. We can also apply three stage crushing process in the long run.

Granite crusher

Granite crusher is designed for granite crushing process for granite resizing and pulverizing. As is known, granite is igneous rock and contains SiO2 with a percent higher than 65%, which are mainly feldspar, quartz and talc, etc. Usually granite is used in sculpture and architecture decoration. To make full use of granite, also for changing waste into valuable, granite can be used in glazing producing, substituting feldspar and quartz. So granite crusher plays an important role in granite powder producing.

Granite crushing plant process

There are three steps in granite crushing: primary crushing, secondary crushing and tertiary crushing. Firstly granite raw materials are fed into the crushing cavity of primary granite crushers, in which they will be resized into even sand to be used in the construction aggregates. Then the granite sand goes to secondary crushing process and goes out as fine granite sand which can be used directly in cement and agriculture. Then if we have special requirements on fineness of the final granite products, we can produce granite in the next tertiary crushing process. The outlets of tertiary granite crushers can be directly used in many industries and further grinding process.

Granite crushing plant

For the granite crushing plant: 30-50tph, 50-80tph, 80-120tph, 120-200tph, 200-300tph, 300-400tph, 400-500tph, we here recommend three proposals:

Proposal 1: vibrating feeder +primary jaw crusher +impact crusher +vibrating screen +belt conveying system +control system

Proposal 2: vibrating feeder +primary jaw crusher +fineness jaw crusher +impact crusher(optional)+vibrating screen +belt conveying system +control system

Proposal 3: vibrating feeder +primary jaw crusher +compound cone crusher +impact crusher(optional)+vibrating screen +belt conveying system +control system

In the above proposals, the main difference is the secondary crusher: using impact crusher (hammer crushing principle), or using fineness jaw crusher(plate pressing principle), or compound cone crusher(plate pressing principle).

If the market has request for the stone shape, and the users want to reduce the quick wear parts cost. Here we recommend firstly use primary jaw crusher + fineness jaw crusher/compound cone crusher as the primary and secondary crushers, take the impact crusher as the tertiary crusher to shaping the stones. This proposal has been adopted by many users, and proved to be workable.
